Manohari, Kathy SipowiczSanta Fe Blue Belt
505.955.1633 Manohari has an extensive background and foundation in the dance arts, Jazz, Modern, Improvisation, Choreography, 5 rhythms and dance as ritual for creating community. She studied dance at Hampshire College and completed the Level One Expressive Arts Training and Facilitation at the Tamalpa Institute with Anna and Daria Halprin. But what really fuels Manohari to teach and share is her personal spiritual journey to becoming more Joyfully whole, all parts of the self in alignment, mind, body, emotions and spirit. Nia was a way to integrate after a fifteen-year lapse of no physical movement in her life. Instead Manohari was immersed in the subtle realms, the inner dance of the heart connecting to Source in Her different forms, first through Nature Herself. And then eventually spending ten years traveling and performing service for Amritanandamayi Ma experiencing the bliss that comes through serving selflessly, connecting to the Divine Universal Love that is our Nature. Manohari’s passion to connect to her own Divinity in her Sacred Body inspires her to create in Nia classes an environment of acceptance and adventure; encouraging students to engage with their playful spirit as they find their own path to embodied self-healing and wholeness. Manohari’s been teaching Nia since the spring of 2007 and is a certified blue belt. Manohari, Kathy Sipowicz teaches at the following times and locations:
