Judy has been teaching and practicing the Nia Technique for since 2005. Judy brings a life-long love of dancing and moving in her body’s way to sharing the Joy of Movement of The Body’s Way with others who want to stay young and healthy as long as possible. Judy knows first-hand the benefits of Nia. As a result of having a persistent doctor, a great diet, and one BFF who one day said, “Judy, I have been going to a sort of dance-workout thing on Monday nights that I think you might enjoy. Would you like to join me this week?” You know what? She did join her, and has been dancing Nia ever since. After only one year of practicing Nia with beautiful Black Belt Beth O’Neall, she decided she just HAD to earn her White Belt and begin sharing the joy of movement of Nia with other people. “THIS IS RICH in so many ways and I want to bring this whole body healing practice to everyone and anyone who is interested in living life to its fullest by learning to love their bodies through dancing The Nia Technique. Judy has a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, a Master's degree in Business Administration, worked as a business administrator in the clothing, explosives and road construction industries for 25 years, and is now reaching out on her own to strengthen her commitment and deepen her skills and mastery of the Nia Technique. Judy lives near the Nob Hill district of Albuquerque and enjoys the shady neighborhood and all of the lovely parks nearby where she and Husband John walk their dog and visit with neighbors. She has one grown daughter and two grandchildren who are the light of her life. Judy is active in her community, attends college classes and loves living in her own body.
